When I first started my #WeeklyNoCode challenges back in August, it was due to feeling stagnant and that I was spending a lot of my time thinking and strategizing about the product and creating ways to build wealth for myself, rather than doing it. I knew that I learn best when doing and this week was another strong reminder of the power of it.
I started with the BannerBear API thinking that I would create the basic functions on there & then use Zapier to create an automated process where these dynamic videos get created. Since I only have 2 days left, I was originally going to resort to maybe using a simple Airtable form to enter the field required to create the video, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I wanted to use this opportunity to use Bubble to create a super simple web app. I spent one afternoon, mainly working off Bubbles existing base template to create this: http://twittervideocard-copy.bubbleapps.io
The page is still rough as there is a lot of aesthetic work that needs to be done, but the idea is this:
Simply enter a Title + Subitle + Logo (option)
Then enter a "Keyword" or word you want to search for to generate your background video (ocean will get you crashing waves)
Then after a few minutes, you'll get a simple video sent to your email which you can use for social media posts like Twitter.
This was such a simple product that was perfect for a week-long build like this. This is also the first time I feel like something like this has legs and I can truly scale off on if there is a demand for it. We'll just have to wait and see!
