#WeeklyNoCode Week 3: Challenge Prompt

Published on Sep 1, 2020

For my third week of challenging myself to pick a new no-code tool and launch a product by the end of the week, I picked the challenge to build a "directory." The reason I wanted to build a directory this week is that I've been wanting to check out more of Airtable's functions, especially the blocks that get included in the paid plan. These days, there are so many easy ways to build a directory, you can simply create an Airtable with all the multi-select fields configured and then just use something like Pory.io and it'll turn it into a website. In other cases, you could just embed an Airtable view onto a landing page.

This week I'm less focused on how to build this product but what to build instead. I'm going away on a long weekend vacation so I want to ship out my product by Friday instead of Sunday this week, so I want to make sure I spend enough time to curate a list of quality resources for a specific community then also find a way to populate as many as possible (I think a good directory should have at least 50 entries).

Stay tuned for more!
