I used to gag at the idea of scheduling every minute of my day or "scheduling" my free time. But I find that the time that I sit down and dedicate to not working ends up being the free time that I get the most value out of.
Inherently any other free time is time that I do not schedule. This typically manifests as the times when I'm working on something and end up getting distracted. This is possibly the least savory form of free time/entertainment that you can actually have—when you know you should be doing something but aren't.
But setting aside time where you know you shouldn't necessarily be doing anything else other than enjoying the presence of your company is a magical feeling.
