The topic of set by @lexc for this week is 'Moving'. This topic is very broad. It could about literally looking at something moving. It could be about daily activities that involves moving around like getting from a location to another.

In this post, I will be writing about domestic migration. In summary, domestic migration because I have been changing school ever since I was young within the country. This happens because of my family which has to move around places because of work.

Schooling in Malaysia is 11 years, not including going to college. 6 years for primary and 5 years for high school. I was studying in Penang until I turned 9 years old, which was during my 3rd year of primary school. Then my family has to migrate to Kuala Lumpur and so I followed, which also means changing to another school to continue my 4th to 6th year of primary school.

I started my high school in another school nearby our house in Kuala Lumpur. My high school in Kuala Lumpur only lasted for 2 years as we need to migrate back to Penang because of financial issues. So from here, I was transferred to another school in Penang to continue my 3rd year of high school. After a year, we migrated to another area again, but still in Penang which was actually fortunate that I do not have to transfer to another school until I finished my schooling days.

The good part about this migration is that I made a lot of friends. Unfortunately, I was still young and during that moment, technology was not that great yet, so I do not have any contacts with any of my friends from the other schools. I could still remember their faces, it is just that I was not able to find them even from any mutual friends.
