Motivation

I had a dip in motivation past 10 days or so. A disagreement in a project where I had invested a lot of time and emotion was going nowhere. It was a result of not having clear agreement and roles set up ahead of time and I just don't know how to proceed.

If the project is able to go on, it could do a massive amount of impact. The issue is that it involves working with so many different people with characters and egos. I am used to be a solo shop and wasting no time debating every little detail.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go further, go with others."

Lately, I have been really feeling the need to go alone.
So I looked around for sources of motivation. Usually music does it for me but this time I needed more.

So I decided to look at the Netflix show about Micheal Jordan. Like most people, I knew he was a great player but he was active before I was in the US so I didn't really know his story. Watching that series blew my mind. The guy was insane with his dedication, discipline and drive. Watching that type of performance was exactly what I needed.

I love finding new ways to motivate myself. Even for a short period of time, it gives me the energy to keep pushing. If you haven't seen the show - The Last Dance, I highly recommend it.
