Is it better to write fewer posts of a higher quality or a post a day of lower quality?

I'm always struggling to get words out on the weekend. It's just the last thing I want to do.
I toy with the idea of just taking a break and not posting, but the fear of losing the streak comes into play. It's so weird, because at the end of the day it's just some number - adding to it won't make my life any better. Why is it that we humans love to keep score?

The streak is a good reminder that I've been consistent and showed up every day. Now, here is the question of the day:

Is it better to write fewer posts of a higher quality or a post a day of lower quality?

That's something I want to flesh out a bit more because if the answer is the former, I think I might not resent writing on the weekends. Then I could set a schedule for Monday, Wednesday, Friday and actually write a more detailed, well researched and though out post.

Buut I don't wanna lost my streak ?.

Is there a way around this? Should the streak be sacrificed for quality, or is it just better to show up and do the work?
