Recently I was joking with a coworker that I might have seen some of my relatives and grandparents for the last time already. Because of the lockdown and ongoing pandemic, I'm not visiting many of my relatives.
This morning my mom called me and said that one of my grandfathers died overnight. Although I was expecting him to die for a few years, because of his severe diabetes and heart diseases.
Still, it was unexpected today.
Although I'm not as connected to this grandfather than I'm to the other, it hurts nonetheless.
This year is really shit.
